About this role
The Account Development Representative (ADR) specializes in winning new business across Bailey to create One Material Handling Solution. Focus on new customer acquisition, maintenance plan sales, and generating leads for forklifts, dock solutions, and warehouse solutions. This sales role emphasizes hunting new opportunities.
Conduct in-person cold calls and prospecting phone calls to generate leads and appointments. Use creative sales tactics to build relationships with decision makers at high potential target accounts. Directly sell replacement batteries, attachments, pallet jacks, and warehouse products.
Develop relationships with key decision makers at existing accounts and work closely with MHC and FSM in assigned territories. Collaborate with equipment sales, parts, service teams to support customer success. Use the company’s CRM tool to quote, manage territory, accounts, and sales pipeline.

Requirements
- College degree
- 2-4 years of sales or customer-facing experience
- Personable and proactive
- Problem solver and reliable
- Ethical, intelligent, and highly motivated
- Able to adapt to customers, suppliers, department employees, and co-workers
Responsibilities
- Use creative sales tactics to build relationships with decision makers at high potential target accounts
- Win new parts and service accounts with emphasis on selling maintenance plans on competitor fleets
- Directly sell replacement batteries, attachments, manual and motorized pallet jacks, and warehouse products
- Generate leads across One Material Handling Solution including forklifts and racking
- Make in-person cold calls and prospecting phone calls to generate leads and appointments
- Develop relationships with key decision makers at select existing accounts
- Work with service department to close large service quotes and increase close rate
- Use CRM to maintain updated account, decision maker, and fleet needs and log all call reports
