As a Mechanical Engineer, conduct feasibility analysis, create mechanical and illumination concepts, and design structures. Handle material selection, CAD modeling, tolerance calculations, drawings, and bill of materials. Support customers on design issues and parts approval.

Collaborate with customers on requirements and design releases, review supplier drawings and tooling. Coordinate with tooling experts, manufacturing planners, and perform risk analysis including DFMEA. Document results like CAD data, test specifications, and review protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mold design and Manufacture, or equivalent
  • Capable for daily English communication
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in related area
  • Tool: Creo for 3D and 2D drawings

Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility analysis, mechanical concept creation, and illumination concept creation
  • Design mechanical structures including interfaces like PCB restricted areas and connector positions
  • Perform material selection, CAD modeling, tolerance calculations, create drawings and update bill of material
  • Review supplier drawings, specifications, and tooling designs
  • Communicate with customers on design requirements and design release
  • Conduct risk analysis for mechanical engineering and release DFMEA
  • Review designs with tooling experts and manufacturing planning, work on initial sample inspection reports
  • Document development results, create and release test plans and specifications
