As the first Account Executive for SMB, you'll build the playbook alongside the CEO, who has closed 40 SMB deals. Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting via cold outreach, inbound, and networking to closing 75-day deals. Focus on building-by-building sales to property managers solving guest parking abuse and enforcement headaches.

Report directly to the CEO initially, then transition to the CRO in the GTM org. Your team already beats quota, with existing AEs closing seven figures last year on mid-market. Leverage a proven sales process in a Series A funded company.

Success opens paths to building the SMB team, shifting to mid-market AE, or more. Embrace AI as a sales co-pilot for analyzing transcripts and personalizing outreach. Master consultative ROI pitches and technical discovery for seamless handoffs to implementation teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience guiding deals through multiple stakeholders
  • Resourcefulness and hustle: figure things out, make cold calls, drop into buildings for intel
  • Financial acumen: comfortable discussing numbers, budgets, ROI, and defending pricing
  • Attentiveness and organization: impeccable CRM hygiene, listen to uncover pain points and map to solutions
  • AI-forward mindset: embrace AI tools to analyze call transcripts and hyper-personalize cold outreach

Responsibilities

  • Drive the full sales cycle: prospect, source, and close deals through cold outreach, inbound channels, and networking, managing 75-day sales cycles
  • Close sizable SMB inbound leads effectively at target price points
  • Master building-by-building sales motion and win buy-in from onsite Property Managers
  • Present consultative ROI pitches demonstrating how Parkade solves parking challenges and guides strategy
  • Conduct technical discovery on building infrastructure to understand baseline operations
  • Ensure clean handoffs with accurate CRM documentation to Implementation and Success teams
