About this role

Wolf & Company, P.C., a national Top 100 CPA firm, seeks a Sales Development Representative to generate and qualify new business opportunities across Assurance, Tax, Advisory Group, and Cyber professional services. Daily tasks include procuring targeted lists fitting the client profile and contacting individuals via various methods to identify warm or hot leads for the senior sales team. This full-time role suits those with lead generation success ready to advance in professional services sales.

The role splits time between research (30%) and lead generation/qualification (70%), using tools like Salesforce, Pardot, and ZoomInfo for niche-based campaigns. Conduct in-depth research on high-value targets, review newsreels to build the database, and perform outreach through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and more. Qualify prospects, schedule meetings for senior team members, and record activities in Salesforce CRM.

As a member of the business development team in the Boston office, report to the Director of Business Development with supervision from Senior BD Reps and niche leaders. Provide regular updates and reports while liaising with colleagues to expand knowledge of service offerings and targets. Participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0-2 years of inside sales or lead generation experience desired
  • Proven track record in outbound prospecting and lead qualification
  • Knowledge of Audit/Tax/IT/Cyber services desired but not required
  • Strong listening/comprehension and qualification skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and identify prospect needs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with LinkedIn Navigator, Outreach.io and Salesforce CRM preferred

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop target lists for multiple service offerings
  • Conduct in-depth research on high-value targets as directed
  • Review newsreels and other sources to add new targets to the database
  • Use Salesforce, Pardot, and ZoomInfo to create niche-based campaigns
  • Conduct targeted outreach via cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and other methods
  • Qualify prospects to determine fit and readiness for Wolf's services
  • Schedule qualified meetings and demos for senior sales team members
  • Record all activities in Salesforce CRM and provide regular updates to Director
