Requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of marketing, journalism, and public relations
- Hold a recognised degree or postgraduate qualification completed within the last two years
- Or completing a recognised degree or postgraduate qualification prior to January 2026 commencement
- Visa/work rights allowing full-time work for the 12-month program duration
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of Council’s marketing and communication strategies
- Implement communication campaigns and initiatives
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and communication strategies
- Engage with stakeholders to support communication efforts
- Contribute to projects shaping Brisbane's infrastructure, culture, and community spirit
- Participate in rotational placements aligned to communications studies
- Support delivery of services through effective marketing and public relations
