Develop familiarity with departmental design guides, standards, engineering codes, and company policies. Contribute to engineering deliverables like drawings, reports, specifications, and studies. Perform routine research, collect data, and prepare basic calculations adhering to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and apply departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and company policies and procedures
  • Comply with the Black & Veatch quality program
  • Support continuous improvement and change management efforts
  • Contribute to preparation of less complex engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies
  • Perform routine research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection
  • Collect, assimilate, and manage data for engineering work
  • Prepare basic engineering calculations following standard methods and principles
  • Adhere to budget, schedule, and quality requirements
