Golin Los Angeles is hiring a graduate intern to join our team. Focus on monitoring and analyzing earned and social media for top brands. Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide insightful reports showcasing award-winning work, while assisting in day-to-day PR responsibilities.
Conduct daily and campaign monitoring of earned media news and social dashboards. Compile morning monitoring reports and insert coverage into Excel grids with active links. Flag company issues, product concerns, and competitor news immediately to supervisor.

Requirements
- Strong eye for detail and quality control of team correspondence and plans
- Solid understanding of client information including business, industry issues, and brand campaigns
- Understanding of traditional media, digital, and social media solutions
- Ability to analyze earned and social media for insightful reports
- Familiarity with monitoring dashboards and Excel for coverage tracking
- Skill in spotting trends from community insights for recommendations
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily and campaign earned media news and social dashboards, compile morning monitoring reports
- Insert all coverage into Excel grids or team formats with active links
- Flag company or product issues and competitor news immediately to supervisor
- Learn and exhibit solid understanding of client business, industry issues, and brand campaigns
- Participate in client and account team interactions, assist in creating meeting reports and status documents
- Analyze community insights, spot trends, and make recommendations
- Proactively engage with online audiences following client guidelines
- Develop always-ready content marrying culture and client community interests
